Add Custom Combatant
Instructions
Toolbar
- + Quick Add — Adds a generic NPC with default stats (AC 11, HP 12).
- + Add Saved — Choose from your saved NPC templates. Initiative is auto-rolled.
- Export / Load — Save or restore your full encounter as a JSON file.
- Clear Init — Removes all combatants from initiative but keeps the bench.
- Clear All — Resets everything including the bench.
Cards
- Click the icon to change icon and color.
- Click name, AC, HP, Dmg, or Init to edit values.
- Use + / − buttons for quick HP and Dmg adjustments.
- Add resources and status conditions from the action row.
- Type a dice formula (e.g.
2d6+4) and press Roll or Enter. Press Save to keep it as a quick-roll button. - Drag the handle (⠿) to reorder.
Card Buttons
- Save Template — Saves the combatant as a reusable NPC template.
- Bench — Removes from initiative and stores on the bench for later.
- ▼ / ▶ — Collapse or expand the card.
- × — Permanently remove the combatant.
Turns
- Use Prev / Next to advance turns. The active card auto-expands; the previous one collapses.
- The round counter increments when the last combatant finishes their turn.
Bench
- Benched combatants appear as compact pills below the initiative list.
- Click the name or ▲ to restore to initiative. Click × to delete.
Status Conditions
- The Status Conditions table below defines the tags available to all combatants.
- It comes preloaded with standard 5e conditions (Blinded, Charmed, etc.) plus common states like Concentrating and Raging.
- Click a tag or description in the table to edit it. Use × to remove.
- Add your own custom tags with the input row at the bottom of the table.
- Apply tags to combatants using the + Status dropdown on each card.
